Every human being has faith in someone and so we have faith and belief in Babaji and shall always continue to do so. Even if he asks me to consume poison, I shall do so happily. Very rarely does Babaji visit anyone’s residence and if he gives us this privilege we consider ourselves blessed indeed! He always wishes for our welfare and happiness.

Every morning at Fatehpur, he shows us his vast, picturesque fields. Many beautiful birds visit his fields and Babaji takes care of them all the time. Babaji helps people in times of trouble- whether the person is close to him or not. He performs many wonders and I cannot relate all of them here but I would certainly like to narrate one instance.

Once during his wanderings Babaji Amritnathji Maharaj saw some hot ‘jalebis’ (sweet fritters of flour in syrup) being made at a sweetmeat shop. He got the urge to eat some but he did not have them as, if he had done so, how would he be able to tell others to control their desires? I am greatly inspired by this incident and wish to learn to control my instincts.
