I have got Shri Nathji Maharaj’s blessings and devotion towards him by heredity. In today’s world, people doubt everything without proof and are not ready to believe anything. But I have realized clearly from my association with Narharinathji Maharaj, the present chief of Shri Amritnathji Ashram that belief is not based on proof, but is complete submission. Something or the other happens in everybody’s life that makes the person believe that there is such a power in this mortal world, which keeps us all bound together. Such incidents have happened in my life. Here I am mentioning such an incident. 12th January 1999. It was seven in the evening. I and five more people were coming from Durgapur to Raniganj in a Maruti Van. One of them was my brother-in-law and 2 other people from Ranigunj. It happened when our car came close to Benachatti. Our car was overtaking a truck, when we saw another truck coming towards us head on. Our driver did not have time to turn or stop the car. There were deep crevasses on either side of the road. It was as if we all in the car could see death himself in front. Death seemed to be certain form us, when I suddenly remembered Guruji and shouted out, “Save us Shri Nathji”, and miracle happened! Our car clashed with the truck in front, then it clashed with the truck beside and rolled on into the 12 feet deep crevasse. The car was shattered, but none of us had even a bruise. We came back from the thresholds of death. We evaded death due to the blessings of Shri Nathji Maharaj. All of my companions acknowledged that we are safe today due to the powers of Shri Nathji Maharaj.
